This ring is meant to be subtle reminders of our eventual demise. While I acknowledge that death is patiently waiting for me, I vow to be patient too. If at all possible, I would not like to run towards the finish, but walk, or even crawl.
The ring becomes a dialog between the wearer and death. You can exclaim to death, "I can wait!" and it will calmly look back and reply, "So can I".
